Individual Counseling

This type of counseling is a confidential and collaborative process between a therapist and client. During our 50 minute sessions, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences.

The Process:

Typically this is the structure for our first few sessions.

Consultation: 30 minute FREE phone consultation to determine if I have the right skill set for your needs.​

​

1st session: This is the initial session. During this time, I get to learn more about you, which includes any information you think is necessary I know to better help you. Tell me about your family, job, peers, relationships, etc.

​

2nd session: Normally, during this session, we will gauge your anxiety and depression with assessments. These will be done during our session together and normally last 15 minutes, each.​

​​

3rd session: Depending on your reason for seeking therapy, we will create a scale of your anxiety and/or stressors.​
